Welcome to my new art studio!
My new art studio is finally ready! We just moved into our new house and we converted the loft over the garage into my new creative space. I'm completely overjoyed, head-over-heels in love with it! Take a peek inside with plenty of practical tips and inspiration to help you organize and make the most of your own art room.
Trusting the process in art & life
When life gets a bit too much, I'm so grateful for the gift of art in the midst of it all. Because the creative process is a wonderful teacher: the more you make art, the more you learn to let go of perfectionism and find creative solutions. Art makes you practice these mindset skills over and over again. That's why I always consider my art-making time as creative self-care.
An enchanted photoshoot
Backstage pics! A few days ago we did a super fun and dreamy photo shoot in my garden. We went all in with a whimsical Secret Garden / Alice in Wonderland feel and I can hardly wait to see the pictures. Until then, enjoy a look behind the scenes!

The art of noticing
It's pretty much impossible not to feel inspired when you spend a bit of time in Nature. Even a few minutes are enough: looking at (and smelling) a flower, observing a busy bumblebee with curiosity... it's all about slowing down, noticing and rediscovering a sense of childlike wonder.
Stich by stich
Allowing yourself to be a beginner again is so good for the soul. Textile art has always been a huge inspiration to me, and I’m finally taking the time to try my hand at stitching, deliciously sloooowly…

How it all started

Beauty spotting
Taking an "inspiration walk" is part of my creative practice: I love to go outside with the deliberate intention of spotting beauty. Sometimes I will capture it with my camera, other times I will simply stay a moment, looking, taking it all in…
